[vox-tech] CD-burn attempts

I've been trying to get some files onto a CD-RW, to bring them to my home
computer from campus. So far, no success. It seems to do better in dummy
mode than when I try to do the actual burn. Trying to erase the disk
doesn't seem to work at all, even in dummy mode. I'm a newbie, and this
is my first effort to burn a CD of any kind on any system, so I might be
missing something that should be obvious. Below is what gets printed out
when I try to burn in 1) dummy mode, 2) for real, and 3) blanking in dummy
mode. (I've also tried blanking with the -force option. That doesn't
work either, but is not included below.)
