I while back I posted about X crashes leaving me unable to see my text=20
consoles, but just leaving me with the last image X was displaying when I=
=20
attempted to switch TTYs.

I seem to have solved this problem by enabling framebuffer consoles.

Intrestingly, X still uses a new TTY after a crash, which is a very sligh=
t=20
annoyance.
