Jimbo sent the following, along with a bunch of image attachments.
That's a no-no on our lists, so I've stripped them out.

They are, in fact, now available online!

Enjoy! :)

I have a few photos (attached).

We had low traffic due to the placement of our slot. My mistake, I thought
it would be the best place to be. It would have been better to put it right
up to the sidewalk. I didn't know, didn't think that I could do that. I
will know next time.

Had some territority issues with some dog trainers showing up after we did.
They stated that they have been at this location (where I set up camp) for
the past 4 years. I apologized immensily and tried to apease them with
offering any help that I could i.e. help moving heavy boxes for their camp.
They did little grumbling and accepted the fact that it was a first come
first serve basis. Next time I will be someplace else sothis won't be an
issue.

Minnie (my precious little dog) was the star attraction. Everybody
(literally) that walked by our booth interacted with her. Amazing however
she does have those adorable puppy dog eyes.

The Farmer's Market (FM) commitee was right; have to set up hella early to
get your choice of real estate. I showed up at 6:40? and already a lot of
people were setting up camp.

I did establish internet on both a live disc of "pclinuxos" and my debian
hard drive. One of the pictures shows this. I also was able to have
streaming music but it kept cutting out due to heavy bandtwith demand (i
think). I had some Steely Dan for backup.

I have a ton of cds left over. Fearing that they will stale I will try to
think of inventive ways to off them. One of which Henry House mentioned is
that we could place most of them on a cardboard box at the Davis Coop.
Cool. I can also give them to people at the Employment Development
Department that are taking computer classes there. I have a ton. BTW,
Henry if you are reading this thread note that your box of goodies are at my
place. I will go to the meeting this monday and drop them off. Ryan if you
are there could I also bring the furniture and props? Sure would be
convient for me.

All and all this has been a good experience for me. I know a little bit
more about setting up a booth at FM and hope to do this again real soon.
One of the mort important things learned is where I can set up booth, it is
a first come first serve basis, and to advertise a lot more that I did. Was
wanting to place a lot more flyers but I was handling so much that I really
didn't spend the time necessary to go and put up flyers. I will next time.
Apartment laundramats, Davis Coop, Davis University and coffee shops are key
places that I should have hit up.

Tim Riley was very instrumental in all this and deserves a big hand. Thanx
Tim. W/o him, it would not have been so enjoyable.

Jimbo
