The V.P. of Engineering is a Ph.D. who used to teach at Stanford and is
also a patent holder. He is extremely personable, friendly and
people-oriented. It will be very rewarding to work in a development
team under his leadership. <br>

Responsibilities: <br>
<br>
- As part of the System Software group, participate in the
architecture design for the next generation of broadcast data services.<br>
- Code modules of the core operation system, memory, I/O driver, and
low-level device driver in Linux<br>
- Work with the QA department as required.<br>
- Work with the Manufacturing department as required.<br>
- 4 years knowledge and experience in Linux device driver.<br>
- Working knowledge on MPEG video and audio drivers is a plus.<br>
<br>
Qualifications:<br>
- BS in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering<br>
- Minimum of five years experience in software development.<br>
- Minimum of four years experience in Driver Development in Linux.<br>
- Well versed in C development.<br>
- Very desirable: Working knowledge of network protocols: UDP/IP<br>
- Very desirable: Knowledge in VxWorks Device Driver<br>
- Desirable: Digital video experience, especially MPEG.<br>
