</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">The embedded Linux software engineer will be working within Mobilygen's software team on system-on-a-chip features for an audio/video codec running a custom Linux based distribution. The duties will include a small amount of Linux kernel development but will mostly be framework and application development in user space.</FONT></P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">The Embedded Software Engineer is responsible for the following: </FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Developing and maintaining an embedded Linux platform</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Controlling an embedded H.264 codec.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Help define and develop an application framework.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Create an application that demonstrate the capabilities of</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> Mobilygen's SOC.</FONT>

<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New">Requirements:</FONT>
</P>
<P><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * BSCS and 3+ years experience in embedded systems programming</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Experience with GLib and GStreamer frameworks desirable.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Kernel (Linux or RTOS) development experience is a plus.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Experience using GNU C/C++ native and cross toolchains.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Ability to work as part of a software team.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Excellent programming skills in C/C++ with some assembly.</FONT>
<BR><FONT SIZE=2 FACE="Courier New"> * Hands on experience in administering Linux workstations is a</FONT>
