My Los Angeles-based client, a rapidly growing company is hiring a Software
Engineer with good knowledge of the Laravel framework. 

This is a full time salaried position paying 100 to 110k + benefits
depending on experience. 

Roles and Responsibilities: 

* Write clean, elegant, practical and well-covered code and has a passion
for writing robust testable code 
* Work closely with the entire product & marketing team to plan, prioritize,
implement and execute digital strategies 
* Ability to work in a fast-paced quick software release environment 
* Ability to work in a team or individually 
* Help define process improvements to improve work-flow and efficiency of
the development process 
* Must be excited about building scalable API web applications 
* Must have excellent communication skills, and willingness to learn new
technologies 
  
Required Experience: 
* Bachelors degree in Computer Science 
* 5+ years of PHP and MySQL 
* 3+ years with Laravel framework including building RESTful APIs 
* 3+ years of experience with RESTful APIs / AJAX / XML / JSON 
* Strong knowledge of relational database design concepts 
* Significant development expertise utilizing PHP Frameworks (Zend, Symfony,
Laravel, etc.) 
* Significant development experience using OOP design and dev techniques
using standards-based frameworks and patterns (MVC, Entity Frameworks,
Dependency Injection, etc.) 
* Experience in LAMP development and Linux server administration 
* Familiar with Source version control (git, svn, etc)
