My client needs a sys-admin / developer that is very familiar with the
Amazon AWS Cloud system. This person will work with the developers to
configure and deploy the project to a load balanced Amazon Cloud EC2
solution. Preferably this person has a development background, but they
should also know how to set up and secure Linux boxes as well as Windows
boxes. I'd like them to help us by consulting with the developers during the
planning and initial development phase, help with deployment and
configuration, help with load testing, security, and QA, and possibly help
with performance optimization too. Experience with Amazon is crucial.
Experience with FFMPEG or any kind of server-side encoding software is a
very big plus. Also, as mentioned before any dev experience is a huge plus
too.

Rate is variable depending on the unique set of skills this person has, but
I'd like to be somewhere in the $50-$75 / hour range. Not totally sure on
the number of hours, I think at least 90-120 hours during the month of
November but it could be more. There's a good chance it could require some
weekend work too, hopefully they are open to that.  This is an on-site job
located in our Culver City, CA office.
