located in Salt Lake City, UT paying $70,000-$100,000 depending on
experience + benefits or $40-$60/hour. No telecommuting allowed. US Citizens

My Salt Lake City client is looking for a highly skilled LAMP developer who
will analyze user needs, design and develop the payment gateway to integrate
with banks, processors and third party payments systems. Candidate will be
responsible for software development life cycle and administration of
business and gateway applications, including scoping, planning, designing,
and implementing projects, tasks, and assignment based on business
requirements. Lead and manage the development team. Principal job duties
will include assisting in developing the LAMP solution publishing and
consuming SOAP and REST based web services using PHP to enable cross
platform operability; implementing a comprehensive Service Oriented
Architecture (SOA).

Summary: 
- Gain an in-depth understanding of the business goals and related system
interactions 
- Work closely with management regarding expectations, scheduling and
functionality of computer applications 
- Monitor and manage deployment on various environments including production
with minimum to no downtime 
- Design, Develop and manage the gateway solution 
- Design and architecture experience is must  
- Experience in integrating securely with third party payments systems 
- Guide and manage the remote development team, review and deploy the
application 
 
Required Qualifications: 
- Bachelors (or better) degree is a must 
- Writing technical specifications 
- Experience in systems design and architecture 
- Hands on 5+ years experience in LAMP development/coding, including MVC
Framework like CodeIgniter 
- Project management / Project leadership experience a strong plus 
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills 
- Very good communication skills and interpersonal skills 
- Self-reliant; able to work independently and accept responsibility for
projects 
- Payment gateway integration experience is big plus 
- Basic understanding of SSH, Linux commands
