   The systems administrator manages the implementation and support of JBOSS
   across multiple applications. This Individual will serve as a liaison
   between Operations, Infrastructure and Software Development regarding the
   implementation and maintenance of the environments, monitors log files,
   performance issues and the production environment for mission critical
   systems.

    

   This person will gain understanding of the functionality of the business
   area applications and assist in tailoring the environment to meet the
   users' needs. This position may also serve as a member of the project
   team, participating in and validating technology decisions.

    

   Deploy, manage, monitor and maintain JBoss Enterprise Middleware (this is
   not a development role) and provide 2nd and 3rd level escalation and
   on-call support.

    

   Specific Skill Set Required:

    

   .         JBoss Application Server Administration

   .         JBoss Application Server load balancing and clustering

   .         Linux /Unix Administration

   .         Server Monitoring 

   .         Moderate scripting skills: Any of Java/Jscript, XML, PERL,
   shell, etc.

   .         Experience designing logical and physical application and data
   flow diagrams

   .         Tomcat 

   .         Apache 

   .         J2ee 

   .         Message Queuing

   .         Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture

   .         Solid troubleshooting skills are a must
