         operation of a true heterogeneous environment consisting of
         Linux/Unix and Windows servers as well as networking equipment
         (Cisco) and databases (Oracle).

         I will contact you for a short technical screen.    We have 2
         NOC positions that are available ? one is graveyard (12am-8am)
         and the other is swing (4pm-midnight).         Taking
         individual responsibility for resolving issues reported to the
         NOC from multiple sources including trouble tickets, phone
         calls and automated alerts.   Managing daily operation of a
         true heterogeneous environment consisting of Linux/Unix and
         Windows servers as well as networking equipment (Cisco) and
         databases (Oracle).   Resolving critical system issues on a
         24x7 basis, including notification, coordination and dispatch
         of individuals from various functional groups within the
         organization.   Working closely with managers and operations
         engineers to ensure the success of daily operations.
         Performing application releases to production environments,
         Initiating new projects and responsibilities and helping to
         plan for the future of the site/network.   Administering
         enterprise systems monitoring, adding new monitors and metrics
         gathering utilities as required.           A minimum of two to
         four years of system administration experience. Experience in
         internet-centric networking environments and related
         monitoring, support and troubleshooting processes. This
         position will be required to work the Graveyard shift.
         Strong interpersonal and communication skills; capable of
         following and composing process and procedure documentation,
         capable of documenting complex network and system designs,
         training users in complex topics, making presentations to an
         internal audience, and interacting positively with upper
         management.   Independent problem-solving, self-direction.
         Comfortable with most aspects of operating system
         administration; for example, installation and configuration of
         various forms of Unix and Windows operating systems, mail
         systems, fundamentals of security, third-party software.
         Solid understanding of operating system functionality;
         understanding paging and swapping, inter-process
         communication, devices and what device drivers do, filesystem
         concepts (inode, clustering, logical partitions).
         Familiarity with fundamental networking/distributed computing
         environment concepts; ability to configure DNS, Unix;
         understands routing concepts.   Familiarity with n-tier
         website architectures, including load balancing and failover
         concepts for web servers, application servers, and database
         servers, including ecommerce and payment processing
         applications. Ability to write scripts in some administrative
         language (Perl, a shell).   Ability and motivation to learn
         new technologies quickly and with minimal support and guidance
