What we are looking for is an individual who is: 

1) an 5+ year experienced system adm (primarily focusing on Linux
clusters and network) and system setup/configuration/provisioning &

2) good programming skills in scripts like Perl and Java.

Title: Network Engineer 
Skills: Linux, Windows, HPUX,SAN,C++, Java, Perl, TCP/IP, DNS, SSH,
HTTPS, VPN (Linux experience is an absolute must)

This is around 6 Mo Contract with possiblity of Extentions in
Roseville, CA.  Design, implement and administrate large-scale data
center utility infrastructure that include system clusters (Linux,
Windows, HPUX), physical racks, Network fabric management and VLAN
configuration, as well as storage/SAN

Qualifications: 

* BS/MS in computer science or equivalent. 5+ years in building,
supporting and maintaining large-scale IT infrastructure, including
server farms, network fabric, and storage/SAN system. Utility
infrastructure and provisioning experience preferred

* Solid knowledge of operating system internals, file system
structures, and server architectures in Linux (RH), HPUX and Windows
operating systems. Hands on experience on routine system
administration tasks (e.g., system configuration, setup,
troubleshooting and performance tuning) with excellent scripting
capabilities (shell, ssh, perl).

* Direct experience with deploying and managing large HP Linux cluster
systems, HW setup & support focused. Experience on HP Linux-based
Proliant and Blade servers a plus

* Hands on experience in network design and maintenance. Network
services and protocol knowledge (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, SSH, HTTPS, VPN) a
must. Knowledge in switches, firewalls, high-speed interconnects
(10GigE, Infiniband), network security and firewall management,
monitoring tools and VLAN configuration is essential. Extensive
experience in traffic flow analysis, network management, network
topology design, security, performance and fault tolerant architecture
is plus

* Extensive software development experience for distributed systems
using Linux, C++, Java, Perl or similar would be a plus Linux
experience is an absolute must!!
