Job Summary: Linux Systems Admin: 7-8 years of experience (primarily a
heterogeneous environment)

This person will be implementing NFS on Linux Red Hat and
troubleshooting any issues that arise in doing this.  They will be
responsible for building and automating test harnesses.  The data
collected will then have to be disseminated and recommendations made
to management/engineers.

A qualified candidate must have a solid understanding of:

Linux – Red Hat EE2.1, EE3.0 (experience with SuSe 9 is a plus) 
Implementing NFS on Linux kernel 
Routing concepts 
Networking/distributed computing environment concepts 
Inter-process communication 
Devices – what do device drivers do 
Knowledge of file-system concepts is crucial (the design of consistent
network wide file-system layouts
Client/Server programming 

Job Detail: This is a 2-month (plus) W-2 contract located in San Jose,
CA.  Work hours will be 8AM-5PM, Monday - Friday.  There may be O/T
involved during this assignment.
