Linux GUI/Applications experts; Permanent/Full-time positions; Dallas, TX

Job Description:
Responsibilities involve porting proprietary GUI framework to run in 
an embedded Linux environment, and  porting existing state-of-the-art 
GUI toolkits such as Cairo or Microwindows on top of Linux 
frame-buffer interface.  Also, modifying an existing GUI application 
(framework) to use for the new subsystem. In addition,design, write, 
and modify new APIs.

Qualifications needed:
o Excellent C++ (and C) programming skills a must.
o Expertise with cutting edge GUI toolkits for Linux and/or embedded 
environments i.e. Cairo, Microwindows, etc..
o Strong background in embedded Linux or similar embedded environment 
with focus on graphics
o Experience with different IPC mechanisms (sockets, pipe, shared memory, 
etc.)
o Ability to design, use new light-weight mechanisms for 
inter-process communications and userkernel communication
o Knowledge of TCP/IP, SSL etc.

Compensation Package: base salary + bonus + excellent benefits
