The company I am working for is hiring for a VoIP Systems Engineer. See

showed advanced systems engineering experience or systems programming

VoIP Systems Engineer

Will work as a member of the R&D team, designing and developing large
scale VoIP systems. The candidate must have strong knowledge of the new
and existing Telephony protocols and their interworking. The candidate
must be able to look at the big picture and have a forward-looking
attitude with vision to develop new, innovative services using new and
evolving protocols. Will be required to write documentation and training
support staff.


Minimum Required Skills:

o Expertise in various new and existing Telephony protocols like SIP,
ENUM, TLS, TRIP, SS7, etc.
o Strong Knowledge of Linux Internals
o C and PERL programming languages
o Experience with network programming (TCP/UDP)
o Good understanding of telecommunications systems and protocols
o Knowledge of other Telephony protocols like SS7/Sigtran/TCAP/GSM/MAP a
big plus



Minimum Qualifications / Experience

Must be able to work in extermely fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Must have excellent people skills and be a self-starter with the ability
to multi-task. BA degree in Computer Science or an equivalent
combination of education and experience. 5 years experience (minimum)
designing and working with complex systems. 

o Demonstrate superior knowledge with the following software:
   Asterisk PBX
   SIP Express Router
      or other SIP Proxy Server or IP PBX system     
   MySQL Database Server
   BIND Name Server
o Demonstrate superior knowledge of the IP protocol
o Strong troubleshooting, debugging, problem solving, and analysis
skills
o Complete development life cycle experience from design through
implementation
