Sr. Systems Administrator
We are looking for a motivated senior Unix/Linux systems administrator. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of Solaris and Linux and will enjoy working in a mixed O/S environment. 

As one of six Systems Administrators located in Sebastopol, you will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining O'Reilly Media's internal servers, including our mail and Intranet servers. You will also assist in maintaining our external web servers. Working with the Director of Systems and Network Administration, you will help plan for future expansion and upgrades to our servers and services.

Systems Administrator
We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to provide support to our Sebastopol office employees. Our ideal candidate will have experience working in a mixed OS environment and enjoy helping users get the most out of both their computers and software programs. 

As one of six Systems Administrators you will be responsible for the administration of a variety of desktop systems (Windows 2000, Windows XP, Mac OS 9 & Mac OS X), servers (Windows 2000 and NT 4.0), and applications (Microsoft Office 2000, Eudora, Outlook and other desktop applications for both PC & Mac).

The UI Web Designer recommends, designs, codes and tests web site and web interface design solutions to ensure fast load times, usability and low abandon rates. The UI Web Designer is also responsible for producing web graphics for a daily publishing schedule, implementing design & layout changes to O’Reilly’s web sites and web interfaces, and working within established brand dimensions.
