Member of Technical Staff - Linux Kernel Expert

General Summary of Position:  

We are looking for a candidate with a high level of experience in
Linux kernel development. Deep expertise in the design,
implementation, and ongoing development roadmap of the Linux kernel
is a must. This position requires interfacing with the Linux
Community on a regular basis. Prior experience with open source
development is a must.

You are expected to continue your active involvement in the open
source community and contribute to the Linux kernel development.

Participation in Linux working groups/organizations for example CELF
and OSDL would be a plus.

In addition your responsibilities include:

·Design, implement enhancements to kernel and OS features
·Evaluate system performance on variety of hardware platforms and
under various workloads
·Track, evaluate, and integrate development from the open source
community.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: 

·	BSCS or equivalent 8+ years of development experience
·	3+ years of Linux in a open source or commercial development
environment
·	Extensive Linux kernel experience a must
·	Very solid practical C experience
·	Strong debugging/analysis skills
·	Proven ability to work across many technology areas
·	Experience developing for embedded systems

Senior Engineer - Linux Porting & Device Driver Development

General Summary of Position:  

We are looking for a Senior Developer experienced with architecture
porting issues and device driver development for Embedded Linux
targets.

The successful candidate has a good understanding of low-level
hardware/software issues in embedded systems and has written device
drivers for networking cards, I/O devices, graphic cards. In-depth
knowledge of hardware architectures, in particular PPC, X86, and MIPS
are required. 

The position includes next to the development of the integrating and
validation of those drivers and/or architecture ports.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: 

·	BSCS or equivalent 8+ years of development experience
·	3+ years of Linux device driver/porting experience
·	Strong device driver development skills
·	Very solid practical C experience
·	Strong debugging, problem analysis skills
·	Experience in developing for and deploying of embedded systems

Senior Engineer - Linux System & Validation

General Summary of Position:  

We are looking for a Senior Developer experienced in building and
validating Linux systems for embedded targets.

The successful candidate will be an expert in the area of assembling
an embedded Linux development environment including for example:
·	Definition/selection of system components
·	Setup of boot software and configurations
·	Building tool chains, kernel and C libraries
·	Building a root file system

He/She also brings in a high level of experience in
validating/testing all aspects of an embedded target system on
various architectures and target platforms.

Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: 

·	BSCS or equivalent 5+ years of development experience
·	3+ years of Linux experience
·	Experience in developing and testing of embedded systems
·	Strong quality assurance skills in particular system
testing/validation
·	Proven ability to work across many technology areas and teams
