We are looking for an embedded Linux guru who can make Linux run 
on our properitary hardware.  The product is a handheld size 
consumer device that sits in an automobile so prior experience 
with vehicle communication buses such as J1850 and CAN is nice 
to have.

Job description:
Must have a B.Sc./M.Sc. in computer science with 8+ years of
experience in developing or customizing Linux kernel software for
different hardware platforms. Must be proficient in C/C++ and
assembly (HLA). Must be able to develop or port off-the-self Linux
software components to bring-up embedded designs and set-up a
debugging and development tool chain. Must have an extensive record
working on development platforms preferably ARM and XScale based.
Must have device driver working experience. Must be capable to work
closely with software and hardware specialists to identify system
performance bottlenecks. 

Experience with network protocol stacks and fixed point arithmetic,
is highly desirable. Other RTOS experience such as VxWorks, QNX,
Nucleus, Integrity and ThreadX is considered equivalent to Linux.
