Subject: palm (C++) programming need

LUGOD Root,

I have a freeware (windows) utility called PDBReader (for reading palm pdb
files) and am trying to get it modified for use on a research project here at
UC Davis Medical Center. Can you forward this message to anyone at LUGOD who
might be interested and/or available to do this?

We need to add a 'double' data type (from Rick Huebner's MathLib for Palm) to
the available data types in PDBReader. This is a little procedure that takes
a double precision number and stores it as two UInt32 integers so that palm
programs can store and use doubles. The core PDB Reader code is supposedly
pretty simple C++ and it would not matter to us if only the core code were
changed (not the Windows Visual C++ stuff) if separating the two is even
possible.

PDB Reader is available at:
http://pws.chartermi.net/~sckienle/palm/default.html#Freeware

Documentation for MathLib is at:
http://www.palmgamingworld.com/utilities/mathlib.shtml

I have a little funding to cover the development, if that is an incentive for
anyone. I'd appreciate ballpark bids from anyone who's interested. Thanks for
 any help you can offer, and keep up the good work at LUGOD.
