For our office in Reston, VA, we are currently looking for Security 
Analysts with the following qualifications:

Education and/or experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar through experience
- Must have the ability to obtain a US security clearance in the future 
if required.

Critical Skills and Requirements
- Extensive working knowledge of networking (TCP/IP)
- Understanding of Intrusion Detection, both host and network based
- Knowledge of security vulnerabilities and exploits
- Very proficient in Unix-based environments
- Good phone and e-mail communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and follow predefined procedures
- Willingness to work in afternoon and late shifts
- Willingness to work in a secured center
- Willingness to travel abroad as necessary

Essential duties and responsibilities
A Security Analyst is responsible for the day to day security management 
for OnlineGuardian customers.  This person needs to ensure the security 
posture of the customers and stay on top of recent security threats and 
developments.   His/Her main tasks consist of investigating and 
responding to intrusion events, managing remote customer security 
devices and responding to availability alerts, as well as performing 
change requests to the customer's infrastructure.   We are especially 
interested in people who show great motivation to stay on top of current 
security issues.
