Or try older hardware?  My installation of Natty gave me Gnome on both
my laptop and desktop.  The message on both computers said that Unity
could not be supported.  (The laptop is not that old.)

Natty has been very buggy for me, and today I'm replacing it with Mint
on my laptop.
