Unless someone answered off-list, it looks like noone answered.

Well, honestly, I think any kind of help will be useful.
I'm pretty novice when it comes to _installing_ Linux, and making it work
right on weird hardware, but I'm sufficient at (co)-piloting the installation
process, and good at tracking down other IF volunteers who CAN help. :)
