This depresses me also.

However, they are 650MB and that is hard - not just some manufacturing 
claim.  Most ISOs are larger.  For instance, Fedora [1-4] is
672, 680, 683, 677
Knoppix 5.1 is 697
kubuntu 7.04 is 694
ubuntu 7.04 is 698
xubuntu 7.04 is 566 << WORKS!

systemrescue cd, puppy, and xubuntu works - and that is about it. 
Better then nothing I guess.
