hpinkjet.sf.net has lots of drivers.  Perhaps one for the 950C.
As for the Canon, I've found a cheap USB CF card reader plus Konqueror
as a thumbnailing file browser work GREAT. ;^)  But I'm sure Gphoto'll do
well here, too...
