for new or would-be new users of Linux to come visit and learn more about Linux,
meet fellow users, ask questions, and pick up one of many free Linux distributions
on DVD to try at home. Come prepared with your questions about the Linux operating system,
hardware compatibility with your computer, general usage, and more.
You can also bring your own USB thumb drive to get a Linux distribution
to go, or you can RSVP to get personalized help with an installation on your laptop!

If you'd like to bring your own thumb drive to be loaded with a Linux distribution,
please make sure the drive is at least 8GB and completely empty.

For personalized
help with an installation on a recent model of laptop or netbook, send us an RSVP to if@lugod.org

try to find someone who can help you with your issue. Please note that due to limited time
and space constraints, we are unable to offer in-person help with full-sized
desktop PCs or other non-portable machines this time around.

We're also looking for volunteers to help answer Linux questions at the meeting! If
