Intro to Rust - Learning to Write Safe Programs With Less Code
Presented By: Eric Rasmussen

Most programming languages either come with a runtime system to manage
memory or require you to manage it in your code. Rust has a unique
memory model that makes the compiler work for you, handling all those
checks before you ever run your program. You can even compile your
Rust programs straight to WebAssembly to run in your browser.

Come learn more about what makes Rust unique and how it compares to
other modern languages.

About the Speaker:

Eric Rasmussen writes a lot of code in a lot of languages, is a
programming consultant, and manages a devops team at newcars.com

(It's also election season! Nominations for officer positions in LUGOD

alive!)
