LUGOD Members and Friends,

Please join us on Monday, February 18th for a presentation and
demonstration of Krita.

Krita is an open-source program designed for digital artists,
animators, and designers. Come to our demonstration of the program's
tools and interface, and see how it's used for tasks from conception
and painting to photo editing. Its unique "heads-up display" palette
toolbar is a remarkable piece of interface design and lends itself to
many versatile and ingenious uses in many fields, but especially
valuable with graphics tablets.

This demonstration is open to all who are interested in original art
and graphic editing with Free/Open-Source software.
