[vox-announce] Annual Election Season Is Here!

LUGOD Members and Friends,

This is just a reminder that nominations for club officers have been
open since the October general meeting!

If you are interested in running for an elected officer position --
President (root), Vice-President (sys), Secretary (typescript) or
Treasurer (/dev/null) -- you can nominate yourself or someone else by
emailing typescript at lugod.org with the your name (or the name of the
person you're nominating) and the position you're nominating for.

To find out more about the duties of the elected officers or for any
other questions you may have about the election process, read the
LUGOD bylaws (available at
http://www.lugod.org/objectives/bylaws.html) or reach out to me or any
current officer for information. Elections will be held at the
November 19th general meeting.

Also coming up in November: the monthly social meeting is on 11/06,
and our next appearance at the Davis Farmer's Market will be on 11/10.
Contact an officer if you'd like to volunteer to staff the booth for a
while, or would like to help with materials and supplies!
