LUGOD members and friends,
Join us on Monday, April 16th for an open discussion on web
development and the LUGOD website!
We're looking at rebuilding and modernizing the LUGOD website to make
it more relevant for visitors and improve the content update process.
In this month's open discussion we'll be talking about how the
existing website works, using modern static site generators like
Jekyll and Pelican, how we're using Github and Github Pages for
development and testing, soliciting your comments and suggestions, and
more.
Come share your thoughts about what you'd like to see on the website,
learn about and participate in the development process, see a
prototype site, and discover how you can contribute via the LUGOD
Github source code repository, too.
Whether you're a current LUGOD member or a new visitor with an
interest in web development and design, everyone is welcome to the
discussion.
