The Linux Users' Group of Davis meets tonight at 7pm at the public library
in Davis (315 East 14th Street).
Our guest speaker will be Ariel Waldman, founder of SpaceHack.org and
the SF Science Hack Day. For more details, see:

Also, it's October, and that means[*] it's election time. Nominations for
officer positions will open at tonight's meeting, and close prior to next
month's meeting (location & topic both TBA!).
If there are multiple candidates for any position (which hasn't
happened in a while), online elections will begin shortly after the
November meeting, and end prior to December's.
LUGOD's elected positions are: root (president), sys (vice-president),
typescript (secretary) and /dev/null (treasurer).
