[vox-announce] LUGOD social gathering this Tuesday (Nov. 3rd)

The Linux Users' Group of Davis invites you to join other Linux and
open source fans for a social gathering at Crepeville restaurant in
downtown Davis.

This informal gathering will begin at around 7pm on Tuesday, November 3rd.
If you don't see anyone, please ask around.  If noone's there yet, feel
free to grab a couple tables and put them together.  We try to make ourselves
obvious, but sometimes fail. ;)

Crepeville is located at the corners of 3rd and C Streets in Davis:

They accept cash only, but have an ATM in back.  Free open WiFi is available!

And mark your calendar!  LUGOD's formal meeting this month will be
on Monday, November 16th at the Explorit science center's Mace Ranch
facilities on 5th Street in Davis.

Our guest speakers will be David Smith and Isaac Finnegan,
from REvolution Computing.  They'll be presenting an "Introduction to
REvolution R", their optimized version of the "R" statistical language.
