The Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD), will be holding a general
meeting on:

  Monday

  6:30pm - 9:00pm

Presentation:

  The Open Source Security Information Management project (OSSIM)

  Presented by:

  The Open Source Security Information Management project
  ( http://www.ossim.net/ ) is a collection of tools designed to aid
  network administrators in computer security, intrusion detection and
  prevention.  Its goal is to provide a comprehensive compilation of
  tools which, when working together, grant a network/security
  administrator with detailed view over each and every aspect of his
  networks/hosts/physical access devices/server/etc.

  Brian will discuss the project, and then set up a virtual environment
  of machines, and OSSIM for monitoring.
