Members of the Linux Users' Group of Davis (LUGOD) will be holding a
hands-on Linux demonstration as part of Software Freedom Day 2006:

  8:00am - 12:00pm

This demo will be held at:

  Davis Farmer's Market
  Central Park
  4th and C Streets
  Davis, California 95616

Linux-based desktop and laptop systems will be available for the public to
try out, and free CDROMs of Linux and other Open Source software will be
available.

  The Bento Solution
  Presented by: John Miche
    "Bento" is Japanese for a boxed lunch.  A Bento Solution is a
    complete integrated information management solution for small
    entities, all in a box using Open Source software.  Solutions that
    were once the exclusive realm of the fortune 500 can now be
    realized by the smallest operations.

  About the Speaker:
    John Miche, Founder, will show and tell his recent efforts in the
    development of the Bento Solution.  John is also a supporting member
    of the Open Voting Consortium (OVC).
