Presentation:
"DVD Authoring with Linux"
Kyle Rankin
Numerous powerful tools exist for Linux to encode video, author DVD
content, and burn it onto a disc. However, due to the complexity
of the process, using them can be difficult. Today, user-friendly
front-end tools exist which simplyify the process. Kyle will discuss
the issues, tools, and demonstrate the process of creating a video DVD
under Linux.
Kyle Rankin is a system administrator for Quinstreet, Inc., and is the
current president of the North Bay Linux Users Group in Sebastopol,
California. He is the author of the O'Reilly & Associates titles:
'Knoppix Hacks,' 'Knoppix Pocket Reference' and 'Linux Multimedia Hacks.'
