"gtkmm -- the C++ interface to GTK+"
Presented by: R. Douglas Barbieri
GTK+ ("The GIMP Toolkit") is a popular open source multi-platform
toolkit for creating graphical user interfaces. It contains common
and complex widgets, such as file selection and color selection widgets.
GTK+ was initially developed as a widget set for The GIMP
(GNU Image Manipulation Program). It has grown extensively since then,
and is today used by a large number of applications, and is the
toolkit used by the GNOME desktop project.
gtkmm ("GTK minus minus") is the official C++ interface for the
popular open source GUI library GTK+ ("The GIMP Toolkit").
Highlights of gtkmm include: typesafe callbacks, widgets extensible via
inheritance, and a comprehensive set of widgets. You can create user
interfaces either in code or with the Glade designer, using libglademm.
