Tuesday

NOTE: August 3rd is also the first day of LinuxWorld Expo in San Francisco.
We have decided to go ahead with this meeting, regardless.
The meeting will be held at our regular location:
Davis Public Library
315 East 14th Street
Davis, CA 95616
The topic will be:
Zope/Plone
presented by: Steve McMahon of Reid-McMahon, LLC
Zope is an open source application server for building content
managements, intranets, portals, and custom applications. The Zope
community consists of hundreds of companies and thousands of
developers all over the world, working on building the platform and
Zope applications. Zope is written in Python, a highly-productive,
object-oriented scripting language. Plone is a content management
framework that works hand-in-hand and sits on top of Zope. To use
Plone, you don't need to learn anything about Zope; to develop new
Plone content types, a small amount of Zope knowledge is helpful.
