[vox-announce] Officer nominations open

Starting at the last LUGOD meeting, officer nominations are open.

You may nominate yourself, or someone else, for the following positions:

  root       - aka President or Chairperson
  sys        - aka Vice President or Vice Chairperson
  typescript - aka Secretary
  /dev/null  - aka Treasurer

Current elected officers (along with the various appointed officers) are
listed at LUGOD's website, here:

If you'd like to nominate someone, then e-mail:  typescript@lugod.org

Nominations close at the beginning of the next meeting (Monday, Nov. 17th),
at which point elections begin.  (If no positions receive multiple
nominations, then a 'pass by consent' can occur.  Otherwise, elections will
take place via the web, and will close at the following meeting, Tue. Dec. 2nd)


FYI, the current officers were all nominated for their current positions.
(Pretty typical for LUGOD ;^) )
