The topic will be:

IBM and Linux: The Big Blue Penguin

presented by: Roy Greenwood, IBM's Linux Impact Team

This presentation will discuss IBM's involvement in Linux - from their
billion dollar commitment, to their own use of over 1400 Linux servers.
Roy will discuss how IBM is helping make Linux better: what they've done
so far, what projects they're working on, and how they help Linux ISVs,
BPs and customers. He'll also talk about why IBM will never make a
    Linux distribution of its own.

Roy Greenwood has been with IBM more than 33 years. He has held numerous
positions: computer operator, application programmer, instructor,
systems engineer, headquarters staff, and for the last 3 years, he has
been a Linux Evangelist with the Americas Linux Group.
